Shards was created in 2006 and was created for a seminar at the Utrecht School of Arts. It the tech-demo of an experimental platformer with changing gravity.

The concept:
Reality as we know it has collapsed and all there is left are fragments - the last human child, a foetus, travels through the chaos. The fragmental nature of the world causes gravity to change rapidly.

For Shards I did the following:
- Game-design
- Coded the C++ engine
- Created a level-editor
- Graphical direction
- Procedural animations
- Wrote music
- Texturing
