Spider was created in 2007 and is an experimental platform game with 3d graphics.
Working along side on this project were Marthe Jonkers, Ward Lindhout and Alex Zapatha.
Setting:
As a spider you travel around four levels, each in the form of a season, collecting flies and shooting webs. You have two webs that can connect to most surfaces, so with some swinging and dashing you can go anywhere.
For Spider I did the following:
- Game-design, principle and practice
- Basic level-design
- Coded the C++ engine from scratch
- Created a level-editor
- Texturing
- Lighting
